Corinne Demas is the award-winning author of thirty-four books for kids and for adults, including the picture books The Disappearing Island, Saying Goodbye to Lulu, The Littlest Matryoshka, Always in Trouble, and the YA novel Returning to Shore. She is a professor emerita at Mount Holyoke College and lives part of the year on Cape Cod, a great place for spotting many amazing sea creatures.
